Fourth Ministerial Meeting of the Fossil Fuel Treaty Initiative

Following the successful decision of nations participating in the Fossil Fuel Treaty Initiative to initiate a “series of dedicated conferences” to address fossil fuel production at previous meetings in 2025, Ministers from this growing group of countries will meet in Santa Marta to discuss the legal pathway toward a negotiating mandate and their joint project to enhance international cooperation and multilateral frameworks to manage a fast, fair and financed transition way from fossil fuels.
